FaceBack (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, share, and retain your information — including face data (images) — when you use the FaceBack mobile application (“App”).

Information We Collect

• Face Data (Images): You may provide an image of your face within the App to generate an image showing the back of your head.
• No Other Personal Data: We do not require or collect your name, email, or location.

How We Use Face Data (Images)

• We use face data only to generate the back-facing image within the App.
• Our reason for storing face data temporarily is to allow processing and delivery of your generated image back to you.
• We do not use face data for training, advertising, resale, or any purpose beyond the App’s functionality.

Face Data (Images) Storage & Retention

• Face data (images) is securely stored on our servers only as long as necessary to generate and deliver the processed image to you.
• Once the result is generated and delivered, the face data is deleted.
• Face data is never stored indefinitely.
• If we add optional social features in the future, you will be able to explicitly choose whether to store or share your images.
• Users may request deletion of their face data at any time through the in-app settings or by contacting us at [email protected].

Disclosure & Sharing of Face Data (Images)

• We do not share your face data with advertisers or marketers.
• We may use third-party cloud hosting providers (such as AWS or Google Cloud) only to process and temporarily store face data for the purpose of delivering the App’s functionality.
• These third parties do not use your face data for any purpose other than providing secure processing and storage services.
• These providers delete face data after processing is complete and follow strict security and privacy practices.
